We wanted you to know what our game plan is for the 28th Annual Awards Banquet and we hope you can save the date. We feel confident that we have developed a safe and sound plan for this important event.

As we emerge out of the COVID-19 pandemic, we need your support again. NAIOP Pittsburgh is committed to putting on the 28th Annual Awards Banquet on
August 4, 2021 at Stage AE. This will be:

• A hybrid outdoor/indoor reception in place of the traditional sit-down dinner historically held at the Convention Center.

• We will have the jumbotrons and additional 80-inch screens playing indoors and outdoors to ensure anyone uncomfortable with indoor events in August can safely attend outdoors.

• The food will be passed with additional food stations. The event will run from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. with an optional after party reception.

• All attendees will sign COVID-19 waivers.

COVID-19 Contingency Plan

NAIOP Pittsburgh and Stage AE are working with county and state health officials on this event and we:

• Will follow all orders and rules in place during the time of this event (including any masks or capacity mandates).

• According to CDC statements and the Biden Administration, a strong majority of Americans should be vaccinated by the time of this event.

• In the not likely, but worst-case scenario, we have retained the capabilities to convert the event to fully digital.

  • In this scenario we would convert the event to fully digital and provide each sponsor a 50% refund to sponsors. Members would attend the digital event for free and non-members would pay $25.
