Mission Statement

NAIOP Pittsburgh is the regional association of developers, owners, investors and professionals of commercial real estate.

We are the leading industry resource to foster business relationships, promote responsible development and support growth of the region through education, leadership and advocacy.

NAIOP Pittsburgh is the regional chapter of NAIOP. NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, is the leading organization for developers, owners and investors of office, industrial, retail and mixed-use real estate. NAIOP comprises 20,000+ members and provides strong advocacy, education and business opportunities through a powerful North American network.

Tom Frank – Chapter Executive Director

Tom Frank acquired his Bachelor of Architecture degree and a minor in Construction Management from Philadelphia University in 2014. Before being hired at NAIOP Pittsburgh, he previously worked at Desmone, having served as a Project Manager and most recently Regional Growth Manager. During his time at Desmone, Tom found a passion for Commercial Real Estate and all aspects that make responsible development possible. Tom’s involvement in NAIOP Pittsburgh has been robust. Joining the NAIOP Pittsburgh Chapter in 2014, he has spent time with the Developing Leaders and was honored to serv as the Developing Leaders Chairperson in 2022. Since then, Tom has been actively involved with the chapter's Advocacy Committee and developed his passion for understanding the intersection of responsible development and legislation. He is a resident of the City of Pittsburgh and enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and cooking. 

 

Erica Loftus – Chapter Administrator

Erica earned her degree in Communications from Geneva College in 2006 and shortly thereafter fell in love with being engaged in the community. The majority of her career has been helping to define and grow non-profit organizations. For five years, Erica served as the President of the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce where she thrived on a balance of creativity and structure while managing and implementing various projects. In 2017, Erica launched Nala Marketing and took on NAIOP Pittsburgh as a client, serving the organization in the role as Chapter Administrator.

Erica is married and resides in the Pittsburgh suburbs with her husband and two pups.
